BATON ROUGE- Gregory Hoffman, executive officer and vice president of Business Development at Hilcorp Energy Co. in Houston, has joined the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council as part of its Student Recruitment & Placement Committee.
“We look forward to Greg’s input and expertise,” said E. J. Ourso College Dean Eli Jones. “Without question, he will be a welcome addition as we continue to recruit students from the Houston area.”
Hoffman previously worked as the vice president of corporate development for Santa Fe Energy Corp., senior landman for Shell Oil Co. and as a sales agent for Equitable Life Assurance Society. He earned both a bachelor’s in business administration and a bachelor’s in petroleum land management from LSU.
Hilcorp Energy Co. is one of the largest privately-held independent oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the U.S. It acquires and exploits oil and gas in the Gulf Coast region and in Wyoming's Powder River Basin. Founded in 1989, Hilcorp’s headquarters are in Houston, and it operates in areas of the Gulf Coast region, the Gulf of Mexico and the Rockies.
