What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a very easy way to broadcast news headlines and other web content to end users.
Using an application known as an RSS Reader (also known as an Aggregator, or Feed Reader), users can subscribe to
RSS feeds which deliver content directly to the user without their having to actually visit the website. RSS Feeds
themselves are nothing more than XML pages formed in accordance to any one of several RSS standards. The feeds
usually provide links back to the website, thereby increasing traffic to the site as well as offering extra
convenience to users.
