LSUCIA AWARDED GRANT TO STRENGTHEN AUDIT EDUCATION PROGRAM
LSU’s Center for Internal Auditing, an integral part of the E. J. Ourso College of Business, has received a grant totaling $105,000 to enhance and further develop its audit program.

BOARD OF REGENTS AWARDS SEI $100,000 GRANT
The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute in LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business has been awarded a Louisiana Board of Regents grant in the amount of $100,000 to be used for an economic development assistantship.

LSU ECONOMICS PROFESSORS AWARDED GRANT FOR RESEARCH PROJECT
Areendam Chanda and Eric Hillebrand, both assistant professors in the Department of Economics in LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business, were awarded an LSU Board of Regents Research and Competitiveness Grant for a research project on which the two professors have collaborated. The grant totals $142,000.

FEDERAL GRANT FUNDS FOR SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION AND RESEARCH
A presentation on the SBIR/STTR Program will be held at Louisiana Tech University on Tuesday, April 17, from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, at the Institute for Micromanufacturing. This presentation will provide an overview of the SBIR/STTR Program, information about Louisiana’s Phase Zero program, examples of resources available to assist with SBIR/STTR applications, and the opportunity to interact with award recipients and applicants.
