MBAAA-DALLAS CHAPTER HOLDS ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

June 7, 2007

The LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association – Dallas Chapter held an organizational meeting at the Park City Club in Dallas on June 7, 2007. LSU alumni Randy and Susie Courtney hosted the event. Randy Courtney, who serves on the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council, will serve as executive advisor to the club.

MBA alumus Manuel Crespo served as the event organizer and was named interim president during the group’s organizational meeting. Nineteen MBA alums in the Dallas area attended the meeting and formed an ad hoc board.

Randy Courtney spoke to the group, providing them advice and leadership. He encouraged them to work together to support LSU, the E. J. Ourso College, and the Flores MBA Program. Additionally, he urged them to stay connected with each other and their alma mater.

Representing the LSU E. J. Ourso College was Wendy Osborn Luedtke, director of Alumni and External Relations.

During the organizational effort the group, an official member of the LSU Alumni Association’s Chapter Program, decided it will hold monthly meetings. All MBA alumni in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are encouraged and invited to participate.
