LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business faculty member Glenn Sumners, the director of LSU’s Center for Internal Auditing, has received the Bradford Cadmus Memorial Award.
Given by the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Bradford Cadmus Memorial Award is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the profession of internal auditing through research, education, publications, or development activities.
Sumners is a coordinator for the IIA’s Internal Auditing Education Partnership program at LSU and has been a member of the university’s faculty since 1980. LSUCIA is recognized as the world leader in auditing education and, since 1988, boasts 15 highest-scoring student award winners on the Certified Internal Auditors Exam.
