Dear E. J. Ourso College of Business Students,
Greetings from YOUR librarian! If you don't know that you have your very own librarian, let me tell you a little about how I can help you.
My name is Jo Ann Henson. I came to LSU as an undergrad and graduate student, and I really enjoy working at LSU. A big part of my job is helping students learn how to use the library to do better work. While Google can be great for some things, I want you to be familiar with the types of resources that will get you better results from trusted sources- often easier and faster than you can get from Google. So stop by to see me during my office hours in Patrick F. Taylor Hall (yes, I even travel to you!) or if you cannot come during my office hours, send me an email to make an appointment with me in Middleton. Here are the details-
My office hours in Patrick F. Taylor Hall are in the Smart Lab Conference room (2301 PFT Hall) from 9-10:30 am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I will also offer classes in Patrick F. Taylor Hall, room 2145, on Wednesdays from 12-2 pm during this semester, either for specific training sessions or for requested topics to support class assignments. (Instructors, please contact me as far in advance as possible to schedule a session for your students.)
If you would like to know more about me, you can check out my page here- http://www.lib.lsu.edu/faculty/henson/index.html.
