    SIX E. J. OURSO COLLEGE GRADUATES NAMED UNIVERSITY MEDALISTS

    BATON ROUGE – Six students from LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business received the University Medal as part of this spring’s commencement exercises. The award recognizes students who graduate with a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average.

    The E. J. Ourso College’s University Medalists for spring 2011 are Jake Boos, Laura Carleton, Melissa Marie Landry, Bradley Joseph Rinaudo, Lindsay Walton and Roxenne Yi.

    Boos, a native of Slidell, La., is the son of Lester Boos Jr. and Patricia Walsh. He earned a degree in finance and will move to Houston to work as an investment banking analyst with Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co.

    Carleton, a native of Lake Charles, La., is the daughter of Mike and Jackie Carleton. A management major, she plans to pursue her MBA through the LSU Flores MBA Program.

    Landry, a native of Covington, La., is the daughter of Steve and Begoña Landry. She earned a degree in finance and will move to New York City to work as an investment banking analyst in the Natural Resources Group at Goldman Sachs & Co.

    Rinaudo, a native of Baton Rouge, La., is the son of Ricky and Rose Rinaudo. He earned a degree in finance and plans to gain experience in the field before starting a hedge fund.

    Walton, a native of Lafayette, La., is the daughter of Peyton and Leslie Walton. An accounting major, she has accepted a position in external auditing with KPMG in New Orleans and will work to earn her CPA license. 

    Yi, a native of Slidell, La., is the daughter of Nando and Lucia Yi. She earned a degree in accounting and will begin the Master of Science in Accounting program at LSU this fall. She plans to sit for the CPA exam after completing her master’s and begin her career at Deloitte & Touche in the fall of 2012.
