Tiras delivered his presentation, “Economic Value Added Analysis: applications to professionals and accounting research,” during the second day of the conference and noted that it was simultaneously translated into Portuguese. According to Tiras, USP Chair of the Department of Accountancy Edgard Cornachione, who has visited and spoken at the E. J. Ourso College on several occasions and has served as a host for the LSU Flores MBA Program when students have traveled to Brazil, was the coordinator of the conference.
