BATON ROUGE – The LSU Center for Internal Auditing will conduct two information nights soon to explain how a concentration in internal auditing can jump-start the career of anyone.
The first information night be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 6 p.m. in 2162 Patrick F. Taylor Hall. The second session will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 6 p.m. in 1119 Patrick F. Taylor Hall.
LSUCIA staff will be present to discuss internship possibilities with Fortune 500 companies and the fast track to upper-level positions that internal auditing can afford. Additionally, information nights will provide networking opportunities with business professionals, and free pizza and drinks will be provided.
The Center for Internal Auditing at LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business is a multidisciplinary program with students from over 30 different business and non-business majors that is considered the premier internal audit program in the world. The model for similar programs in other schools and countries, LSUCIA provides training to graduate and undergraduate students for developing an understanding about the internal auditing profession.
