    William "Paul" Herrington

    CAPITAL ONE EVP JOINS DAC

    December 15, 2011

    BATON ROUGE – William “Paul” Bill Herrington, executive vice president of South Texas Commercial Banking for Capital One Bank, has joined the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council as a member of its Student Recruitment & Placement Committee.

    “Paul’s years of experience will be extremely beneficial to us and our recruiting efforts,” said E. J. Ourso College Dean Eli Jones. “We are definitely looking forward to his input.”  

    Prior to his position as EVP for Capital One, Herrington served as executive vice president for Hibernia National Bank in New Orleans. He is a member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation, the LSU Foundation and the LSU Alumni Association. In the community, he is also a member of Prepared 4 Life, Houston Crimestoppers, YES Prep Public Schools, Bayou City Arts Festival and Discovery Green. Herrington is also a 2009 E. J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Circle Shareholder Member.

    Herrington earned both his bachelor’s and master’s in finance from LSU.

    Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE: COF) is a U.S. based bank holding company specializing in credit cards, home loans, auto loans, banking, and savings products.     DAC exists to promote and improve the E. J. Ourso College. The accomplished professionals who form its membership donate their time, talents and resources to support the dean in his efforts to enhance the substance and image of the E. J. Ourso College.
